Intake

I can get a ls6 intake for $200 or a dorman ls2 for $300. Does the dorman offer more performance for that price or should I get the ls6 and use that money elsewhere

Get the Dorman if you can swing the extra money, just be aware it takes a 4 bolt TB

Agreed, get the Dorman ls2. I just put an Ls6 on my ls1 and wish I’d have done the dorman ls2. The bigger throttle body is almost worth it alone.

If it helps, 87mm 4-bolt DBW TB's came on all trucks w/5.3 and 6.0 Gen IV engines.
