Lobe Separation for boost cam
Lobe Separation for boost cam im looking at a 226/234 114lsa cam for my 02 z28 which will end up being a cam/turbo car. is there any advantages of having the lsa advanced ? and if im not saying that right please correct me. thanks

The LSA isn't as important since it's just a calculated number. What's important with boost is the overlap duration and flow area. A cam that's 226/234 @ .050" and 114 LSA has the same overlap duration as a cam that's 214/222 @ .050" and 108 LSA, for example.
I don't like to get caught up in the lobe centerlines for this reason. It tends to distract from what's actually going on with the valve timing. In the above example, someone chasing just a higher LSA alone, with no regard for what the actual valve timing, could end up leaving a lot of spool response and/or power on the table.
