Cylinder 5 and 7 issue...
Cylinder 5 and 7 issue... Soooo having a bit of dilemma here again pretty sure this car was forged in hell by Satan himself which is cool and all but annoying... Anyway drove it to dyno and it was fine. The next day he called and said 5 and 7 were dead and had no heat on the pipes but all the other were fine. He tried known good coils still didn't fix the issue. Took the spark plugs out the ones on pass side looked normal all 4 on drivers were all black... Now today he went to turn the car on and it appeared the misfire was gone. So he checked both 5 and 7 had heat at the pipes and no sign of misfire. When I got there it was good as well 8 hours later because of work. So what could cause this? We checked grounds, voltage, coils, new plugs, new wires. Only thing not checked is inj. But I don't see that being it? Btw it's a 2000 camaro z28 with a 408 stroker with a psi race harness and no shorts that we could find...
