Lq4 While not performance related I've been having a problem with my '01 2500 pick up. After driving 30 minutes or so of highway driving my engine does not want to return to idle. It will rev up to 3000 to 3200 rpm. No codes are thrown. It has a little over 225,000 miles on it and is a 5 sp manual. It will eventually slow to idle and once the engine is shut off for a few minutes it returns to normal. Around town it runs just fine. Any ideas?

Got a can of CRC throttle body cleaner. Was surprised at how dirty it was. Will be driving down to Rock Springs this afternoon and will see how it does. it sounded like you have come across this problem before.
