Yea I know, he asked to see where I had the check valve. With this I haven't seen any residue make it into the intake since I've added the check valve.

Nothing wrong with running PCV on a street driven car, mines not a daily and I prefer this way and going back to PCV will cause issues with my tune.

Thanks.. It's a Texas Speed 100mm MAF and I haven't had any issues with it in the five years it's been on the car.

I stated in my first post that's not my engine or picture lol.

I run a corvette mod catch can after the pcv valve on a stock ls1 intake. I used that picture for reference because it shows the hose I was talking about.

Thanks for the pictures and info everyone.

So before I make a new post...

Anyone have any input on what it means if you disconnect your IAC and your car suddenly drives better? It would idle ok but then parking lot speeds it would surge a lot. Curious if I should be looking at TPS or IAC. TPS using my bluetooth reader seems to function fine as far as percentages, not sure about voltage though. Car would surge really bad at slow speeds like the IAC couldnt keep up, unplugging it and the car is WAY better. In my driveway just blipping the throttle in drive to move it doesnt surge as much and recovers almost instantly, with the IAC plugged in the car could move from surge with your foot on the brake after a blip in drive, it literally fights me.

Did you ever get a tune after you installed the cam?

Mail order tune I assume. If that's the case you probably need to get a real tune. Mail order tunes are great if it's a stock engine or possibly a mild cam but that's about it. When you make several changes like a different manifold/headers/cam and so on a mail order tune should be used to get you to a person who can tune it in person.

The car ran good before this issue. Im guessing its sensor related. This problem just started recently.

When cold the car does good, when warm is when I get the problem. Im thinking the IAC is sticking when hot.
