cold air intake?
I am finishing up my lq9 swap into a 1998 k1500. I picked up a Fast 90mm tb and tbss intake here. I`m not finding what i need or want to to feed this tb. A 6.0 air box and maf sensor i`m thinking, custom routing to the tb? I`ll have to cut inner fender to fit the different air box, if needed. I don`t know.... Thoughts, PICTURES, any info is appreciated. My front right corner (passenger) has the battery in place now. Could move if had to, but reall don`t want to. I see parts and pieces i can buy, ( 4 inch 90`s, U`s, straight pipe, etc ) Just not sure which way to head Thank you!
Currently I'm running a Hummer CAI that comes pretty close to lining up with that idea.

I found a guy on Craigslist with a truck full of those kinds of 'accessories' and we cobbled it all together in a 'quick' fashion so I could quit running around without an air filter. That was about 5 years ago...
My OEM Cold Air Box is hitting the A/C fittings, and maybe the A/C Compressor, which caused a full-stop in implementing my idea of inverting the OEM box. I bought the 2nd box to cut out the plastic on the front side and use that cut out piece to repair the plastic on the back side. Maybe use just the right 'elbow' to connect the front of the box to that existing pipe. That 4" pipe is way larger than I need and would probably prefer putting in a more appropriate 3".
I'm thinking I can use a K&N filter that fits that box, mount it solidly to the inside of the box, fit an elbow or whatever fits to the outside of the box angled towards the pipe and fit the MAF somewhere that's proper. I seem to be dealing with some (hopefully) false knock that affects performance at low RPM's.
At last check, I wondered if I maybe couldn't rotate the A/C Lines more inward towards the engine to allow the OEM Box to clear them, but I haven't bothered to check if that will actually work.
