Default Looking for Msd intake dyno/track results

Hello,

Just like the title states, really thinking about pulling the trigger on an MSD over a fast 102, especially since holiday deals/used deals are hard to resist at the moment. I see some here stating that the msd isnt impressive in stock form but I see very little technical data on this. I dont really plan on porting one so let's stick with an un-ported casting, does anyone have any results to share on this intake? Thanks!

Unless you're planning on rev'ing north of 7000 I wouldnt do it. That's basically the trade off point. Most of its life <7000=FAST, most of it's life >7000=MSD.

you think a ported 102 by vengence is a better value for the dollar spent or just buy a stock 102 and send it? Just waiting to see what sponsors do for holidays deals atm...

I'm a boost guy so bang for the buck drives me crazy on NA stuff like that where it costs hundreds of dollars to gain 10hp or so. If you're not going max effort I wouldn't worry about porting it as the $$$ can be used elsewhere. Others may think differently.
