Default Fuel Rails for LS1 FAST 102

FAST 102 intake is going to be part of my MMS 220 build this spring, and I do not know which fuel rails would be best to get. What is the benefit to the FAST billet style fuel rails? The only info I can find says the billet are just for looks.

FAST 102 OEM style - 146021-KIT (around $240)
FAST ls1/LS6 Billet - 146032B-KIT + 54028-KIT (Around $318)

Also, I assume my SVO green-top injectors will fit properly?

IIRC, either they don't fit at all or you have to do some grinding to get the fat SVO injectors to fit on the 102 but it's been so long I can't say 100%

This is an old thread, most of the pics are gone but still good information. I went back and looked at it to make sure I was going to make accurate statements about the rails.

Post #23 talks about using the factory style LS2 rails.

ok, I am going to need to look into this some more. If the fuel rail kit raises the fuel rail, then I just need to worry about the bottom of the injector fitting into the FAST intake's injector holes.

Would Bosch FIC42LS1B 42lb injectors fit in the FAST 102 injector hole?

Depending on what injector and rail you use, you may need to use 2 different sized o rings.

Based on what I've read stay away from Tast fuel rails and get the BBK fuel rails. You'll need a spacer kit for the LS1 style injector on a Fast 102.

What about ID1050X injectors? Will those fit the FAST 102 intake? Those are the injectors that I plan on eventually. If those require the injector slots on the FAST 102 to be opened up, I might as well just open them up now.

Does that include the OEM LS2 style rails from FAST?

I am talking about the body of the injector fitting in the holes on the FAST 102 intake. I should probably move the injector discussion to a new thread.

I ran GM LS3 rails on my FAST 102. I have since gone back to a LS6 intake with my turbo build. Still have the rails, bolts, and spacers if you are interested in buying a used set with less than 1k miles on them. You can see my original build thread in the Gen 3 internal engine section for some pics.

Thanks, but I am already buying a FAST OEM LS2 one.
