Default One more thing ...

The shorties gave me a little more 'go' over the restricitve manifolds on the 98/99 cars. They probably would have made very little difference, IF any, on the 00/01/02 F-body's.

I second that converter. A converter will give you the best all round gains as you will feel it on the road as well as the track 100% of the time.

Better streetability as well as lower ETs and hogher MPH all in one. Dont think any of the other options will give you all that in abundance.

Need I mention that your engine wont be producing any more horsepower, but rather you will be riding the tranny more so than before to deliver more HP to the ground per MPH. You will be limited by traction, and if your tyres wont hold, wheelspin wont break the rear-end.

You can always get a nitrous kit later! Check out the parts for sale section. There is always someone selling a kit for cheap. Or look into Dyno Tune's stuff (sponsor) They have some great prices on N2O stuff.

Default 3000 Stall?

I found a new TCI SuperStreetFighter 3000 online for $439.00 on sale. Is this enough for street driving or will my sig below handle a 3500 without having to scream to pull out from a dead stop?

Is there anyone who thinks LT's would be a better option?

I have 3:73's and TCI 3500. Good combo. Gained a .7 second on acceleration.
With a 3:23 it would be a bit looser but with 3:73, it acts like a stock TC until you floor it that is

As far as breaking the tires loose, I solved that with a set of 285/18's at the rear.

How does a TCI T/C stack up against the Yank/Vigilante Converters? Are they as good?

Anyone have problems with any of these particular brands before?
