2003 LQ9 3 wire alternator

2003 LQ9 3 wire alternator I have a 3 wire alternator from a 03 escalade. 2 wires are going to the ecu, they go to pin 15 and 75. I had a Blue wire that went to the C2 block. I assume I need to put an inline resistor and connect it to an ignition switched positive is this correct? Just want to make sure. Thanks
Here's a vid on it.
Most of us here don't do conversions where we have to worry about which to resistor to run.
You need to run your turn on wire to the L terminal and run a resistor if you're putting that alt into a vehicle it didn't come out of and you're going to be controlling it off the key instead of the GM PCM
