Flowmaster 53083 Hello, I was wondering if I could get more info on flowmaster 53083 muffler. I recently got a used 98 z28 and I would like to upgrade the muffler.
So far, I have gotten a lid, short throw shifter, STB, and a catch can for the car.
My next purchase is the muffler with out the whole cat back.
I would like to know, will I gain HP or lose HP with this muffler - From the sound clips I have heard I like it the best.

They do sound badass but you won't gain any hp...you may lose a little.
Of course you can always pick up one of these as well, put it just before the muffler and have the best of both worlds:
