Can 2001 4.8 DBC be converted to DBW?

Can 2001 4.8 DBC be converted to DBW? Hey everyone, I have dug through the forum , to gather some info before I posted this but wanted a little feedback just to double check before I go to the junkyard and spend money. so here goes!
I have a 2001 4.8 dbc motor. I only have the engine and trans(4l60e). I'm was reading and saw that the dbw setup is really clean and a great setup ( please chime in if you think otherwise haha). So from what I have read , the 03-05 pedals are smaller, and more of them than the early dbw or cheaper than the corvette setups. So if I go and get a dbw pcm, harness, tac and pedal (from the same vehicle. Along with the throttle body, that pcm should be able to be programmed to work with. my earlier 4.8 right? Just wanted to double check! Also the intake manifold will work as long as I swap the throttle body? Thanks for your help!
