Motor mount spacer plates for fbody?
I swapped from spohn solid mounts which made the engine sit higher and tucked my exhaust perfectly
Now with the spohn pedestal mounts and stock mounts the exhaust system hangs entirely to low and scrapes on any bump in the road
I need the extra height I had from solid mounts, I dont just want to slap a metal plate in there under the mount stands but I dont see a reason why I couldn't
Can anyone off the top of their head tell me the height difference in the solid mounts vs original mounts so I can fabricate a spacer for the mount pedestals to sit on?
I searched and couldnt find a similar discussion, again I want to raise engine height in the engine bay while running rubber motor mounts to reduce vibrations
Basically I really hate daily driving my fbody to the point I hate the chassis but love the drivetrain. I'm trying to make it fun to drive again but they are just awkward to drive and get in and out of. Maybe its just the racing seats
Thanks heres pictures for your patience
