Default MAF interchange

I am in the process of a very long project where I am retrofitting a 2000 5.3 into a pretty small engine bay. I keep running into clearance issues so my engine is set up with an LS6 intake and the corvette accessory drive. I am close to the first fire up of my motor. I got a brand new engine harness from PSI and it is set up for a "5 wire LS1/LS6/LS2 Corvette/99-07 vortec" MAF. I had originally (years ago) bought this oddball MAF/air filter combo that just won't fit in my engine bay so I need to go to a typical elbow, tube, and cone filter. The oddball thing had a Delco MAF part number 25168491 which I think is an LS2 MAF but I don't know. When I got my PCM flashed I told them that was the MAF I was using.

So now I need to swap to a different MAF because this modified one won't work. Can I get any MAF that's a 5 wire MAF that's the same diameter even if its a different part number? Or would that screw with my tune and what ever tables were put in. All my searches find is people talking about upgrades from 3 to 5 wire but nothing about general interchangeability. Any help would be great.

I want to add that I can only find the Delphi 25168491 used online or what looks like aftermarket. I want to go with a new one that is authentic from GM. I heard bad things about aftermarket sensors.

GM went from the 3 wire aluminum MAF to the 5 wire plastic MAF with 3 wire adapter harness not sure of the P/N but it is usually called the truck MAF

Original Z06 maf or truck maf will work with the proper pigtail and tuning, although I ran a Z06 maf for about 10 years without tuning.

I have the wiring, that’s not the problem. I got a mail order tune and when they asked what sensor I was using I told them 25168491 which is an 85mm 5 wire Maf. I want to avoid paying for a retune. I can’t find a brand new oem 25168491 so I was wondering if other 85mm 5 wire mags were interchangeable with out a tune.

If the lists in aftermarket parts are right it looks like 25168491 was on lots of cars and trucks. When I search gmpartsdirect for those models I get different part numbers. So I’m not sure what to buy.

I found the answer to my question. I went out and found someone my dad knows who drives a 2006 Sierra, turned out to be a 4.8l but I looked at the Maf and it’s the same part number I have. I was able to look up the Maf based on that vehicle and came up with a replacement of GM 19330121. According to GM parts direct that Maf works on a 5.3l of the same year. For the heck of it I checked and it’s also the correct Maf for a 2002 corvette zo6. Now I know a current part number that will work for my setup.
