Hi ram on a 5.3 I think I might've messed up, but they didn't have any of the Mid-Ram intakes in stock anywhere so I finally found this one at Summit Racing:

I've got a Holley Terminator X ECU & harness, 92mm Holley TB and some Holley 36 lb/hr injectors. Truck is a 5.3 4x4 with a 5 speed manual. Am I going to be sick of the way it runs? The engine is a new (Jasper remanufactured). I noticed the cast intakes said recommended for engines from 6.0-7.0L, but I saw no mention of that on this fabricated intake. Thanks for any help or recommendations.

The Holley Hi-Ram and Holley Sniper intakes will get outperformed by the stock truck intake unless you're revving the 5.3 over 6800 RPM.

That would be less than desirable on a 5.3 in a truck unless this is a high revving race truck. Like others stated you'd be better off with a stock truck intake or the TBSS intake.
