Magnaflow muffler Question I have a single exhaust pipe 3 inch over the rear axle on the passenger side then into this muffler.

MagnaFlow 5" X 8" Oval Offset/Dual (Transverse) Straight Through Performance Muffler 3 inch in let on passenger side and 2.5 outlet both sides. Dual 4 tip exhaust.
always seems the driver side exhaust output is hotter than passenger side - is the normal for this muffler and setup??

If you saw how this muffler was built inside, you would see that the exhaust flow favors going in one direction. Since it comes in from the right, it will favor going out the left pipe rather than doing a U-turn to go right.
