Need the opposite of a block hugger header, options?
Looking for shorty manifold that hang off the block a ways. The opposite of a block hugger. Any options on pre-made LS headers out there? I'm going cross eyed looking at them all. My steering shaft is basically "hugging the block" on the drivers side so I need something that will extend a little off the block. Maybe 2"-3" from the factory and hugger style manifolds.
Most of the shorty headers length "A" is listed at 4" or so. I don't see how that is, as they follow the block line and are 2" or so away from the block. Looking for something that hangs out 4" or so form the block More compact the better. Not looking for a long tube design.
Figure I'll have to make something but maybe someone has seen one that would get me close.
