Default Torque converter

While I'm getting my transmission rebuilt, would it be worth it to get my torque converter (Yank 3600) restalled to 3800?

Go up to ss4000 if you get it re-stalled. I would. It would really get that 60 down

Mine is a pt series LoL .I just recommended the ss4000 because I assumed he has a ss3600 and I would drive almost exactly the same but perform way better.

Either way he can't go wrong.

I run a PT 4400 and the Pt series is such a wicked converter

I'd personally go 4000+, I'd also recommend going to the PT series if you're not sparing the car or intend to spray the vehicle. I've also read that the Yank converters aren't as efficient as other companies. I'd probably switch companies while you're in there as I did, went from the SS3600 to a Circle D 2e (4200) stall.

From my reading Circle D, FTI to name a couple companies had more efficient converters. If you want to stick with Yank read above.

TLDR: Yes have it restalled and go 4000+

Yes, getting it restalled to 3800 wouldn't be worth the effort and expense. 4000 or leave it as is.
