MSD plug wire resistance fluctuation

I've had MSD plug wires on my 99 SS for over a year now. My car occasionally stumbles at idle, like it misses on one cylinder. It's hardly noticable, but I can tell. For kicks I pulled my plug wire and check the resistance. All the plug wires but one were about 14.5 ohms from one end to the other. One plug wire fluctuated from 50-300 ohms, it was wierd, I couldn't get a constant reading like the other wires.

Anyone ever experience this? Could this cause my miss?

Just to let everyone know, I emailed MSD tech support and they told me the fluctuation was not normal. They shipped me out a new plug wire for free. I was shocked, I'm not used to such good customer support. I'll buy fromt them again.

14.5 ohms? Mine clocked in at like 30 ohms each. Maybe I got a pos set...

mine are in the 2.5-5 ohm range, until #3 on the driver side was unstable

I had 7 right at 30 ohms and one at 300. They sent me a new one for free, but I forgot to tell them what color, doh!
