Throttle body questions

I'm swapping a 2002 Camaro LS1 into my 70 Camaro that has a stock bottom end, LS6 intake and I believe a stock throttle body, Part numbers on it are 23950, 00025, 0450 A3, and DD451A 7. The car will have 1 7/8's long tubes and a full Stainless Works 3" dual exhaust, LS2 243 heads by Advanced Induction including 226cc full CNC porting Compression ratio increased to 11:1, Ai 226/234 113 LSA .600/.600 hydraulic roller camshaft, should be around 440-460rwhp. Tremec Magnum and narrowed 9" with 4:11's.

I believe the stock Ls6 intake has an inlet of 75mm, but I need to measure it.. My current throttle body opening measures 75mm, should I have it ported and polished to around 80mm, or just leave it alone?
I've had porting work done in the past on an LS throttle body by I believe a dude in Illinois but I can't find any past emails. If anyone has information for someone who does this please let me know.

Unless you're racing, I doubt it will make much difference. I ported mine; smoothed out the rough edges, etc. I don't know if it made the car faster, but it did make me feel better.

Yes, porting is worthwhile, especially with that combination.

But have to be careful not to port the TB so much such that it is bigger than your intake manifold. Apparently this causes problems.

I had mine ported from Vengence Racing, years ago. If they still port get the intake done too, so it will match the TB. They do this work.

This is how I was able to pull off 344 rwhp, with just 50-state legal boltons.
