Default AIR & EGR Removal Help

I'm working to remove the AIR and EGR on a '00 Z28. I've found several threads, but the pictures no longer display for most. I have the block off plates for the EGR intake, EGR exhaust, and AIR. I also have a rubber plug for lid. So far I have removed the air pump, air pump bracket and air pump fuse. Removed the rubber hose to the lid and plugged. Removed the AIR to the driver side manifold and put in block off plate. Then I took the EGR hose out of the intake and put in a block off plate. I took the EGR valve bracket off, but couldn't get the bolts broke loose to take the EGR out of the exhaust. So the bracket with two hoses is hanging in there for now. I decided to take the rubber hose from the passenger side EGR that goes along the fire wall out. I ran this all the way over towards the driver side of the intake manifold. I was struggling to get the hose off of the circular "T" and the whole T popped out. It had a smaller vacuum line in the top that I pulled off, and some sensor that I unplugged. I think this is the knock sensor?

My question is, what is the business on the back of the manifold? Of course I can't see anything back there. What do I do with this small lines? Can I just cap it off and plug the sensor back in? Also, do I need to cut the EGR bracket bolts down so they don't stick out? Is there anything I am missing to complete? I am working on turning the SES lights out in hptuners.

It's been many years since I did this, so forgive me if my memory is hazy and I don't give accurate advice.

There is a (vacuum) port on the back side of the driver's side intake manifold that needs to be capped off.

The EGR system is all up front and so there is nothing that would interfere with the rear of the intake manifold, IIRC. PCV hoses and the MAP and Oil Pressure sensors mount back there so you don't want those to have come off. I'm thinking the tee you've mentioned is for the PCV hoses.

You don't want your EGR open to the exhaust manifold. Bad bolts or not, that thing has to come off and be sealed.

Regardless, unless you're upgrading to an incompatible intake manifold or headers, there's no reason to delete EGR and AIR. They don't cost you anything going down the road, and it can even be argued that freeway gas mileage is better with EGR

there is a vacuum port behind the mani....but the hose goes to the drivers side head...easier to cap off there than fishing behind the mani

I think the intake stays cleaner without EGR
