4 Pin alternator plug question????

4 Pin alternator plug question???? Hey everyone, just a quick question....on my 98 TA i broke the 1 wire that goes to the alternator. i went a purchased a new plug with the wires already on it.....my question is which pin is it that actually connects to the 1 wire/alternator? i have looked but cant figure it out and i have managed to loose the old plug for reference....thanks guys!

Hello,
On my 99 GMC LM7 engine with a four pin alternator connector, only two wires go to this connector - one brown and one red. These two wires occupy the inner two pins on this connector. The brown wire goes into the connector pin hole that is second closest to the centerline of the engine. The red wire goes into the next hole furthest away from the centerline of the engine.
