Default Accessory Drive Questions

I'm getting ready to buy a balancer, Summit, and water pump for my 5.3, right now I have nothing except for the stk truck balancer. I'm only going to run a alternator and have bought a low mount, left lower, alt bracket deal I'm going to use. I was planning on F body stuff to gain a little room for the turbo but everything I've found on the internet uses the truck accessories so has anyone done this with the F body WP and balancer and if so which tensioner did you use? Everything I've found uses a truck and tensioner on the front of the right head. The balancer is a 25% under driven so if anyone has done this a belt # would be great. I don't think I'll have a space problem so if the truck stuff is easier, I can go that route.

Bolt it on, run a piece of string over the route you intend to use with the tensioner in the fully relaxed position, make sure the string is tight. Measure it. Buy a belt about 1" shorter than that.

Nobody here can give you a belt length based on what you posted. Most of it is drivel, the rest is merely uselessly vague. YOU gotta put some NUMBERS on it. All by yourself.

I can manage getting the belt, thats not a big deal, it's which route to go with the damper and WP. Everything I find on just running an alt, they run the truck accessories. Dirty Dingo has a manual tensioner, truck, to cure belts flying off, found about 10 images of belt routing with just an alt, all truck. I kind of like the F body top hose outlet better but I guess I'll go with the truck stuff so I don't end up buying 3 or 4 tensioners before I find one that will work.

I try to get every pulley around a 50% wrap , I use a dressmakers tape measure to sort out belt lengths and routing.. They are usually about 7' long and cloth. If it were me I'd sort out the hot side,, and just sort of pencil in the front drive. You can do a lot more easier with belts than pipe..
