Magnaflow user Question
Magnaflow user Question Has anyone ever had a blockage in their Magnaflow system? I'm starting to think my muffler is going, pulled the car out to detail it and notice that the right tail pipe was pushing more exhaust out of it than the left. Also, there was quite a temp difference between the two, the left tailpipe I could grab and hold on to but the right was hot to the touch.
Just seeing if others had the same issue or I may have a warranty issue on my hands. I've had the system installed since 2005. This is something new I just noticed about a week ago.

Is it a crossflow muffler with inlet/one outlet on one end, and the other outlet on the opposite end? If so, it is normal for one side to flow more, because exhaust will find the path of least resistance. One thing, though, that side is usually the outlet opposite (other end) the inlet, as that is usually the less restrictive flow path. Yours is flowing heavier out the same end as the inlet? That IS unusual.

That's just how that muffler works look at the way it is designed there is nothing wrong with it, hot air just takes the path of least resistance
