Default Coil Advice needed for 2001 Corvette

Hey all, i'm currently in the process of finishing up my 01Z06, and I need taller valve covers to clear the cam and rockers. That lead me to finding out the that the OE coil packs won't just bolt up to the valve covers as they're patterned for the LS3 coil packs. I've no issue buying the LS3 coils, but I've read a few things saying that they won't just plug in, but I can't find anything that confirms this.

I could, I suppose, fabricate a new bracket to put the 01 coils on, but it seems the newer coils are a better option. What do I need to do to adapt them in? I've tried searching but my searchFu is clearly failing me as I get too many unrelated things to sift through.

Please help.

My tuner told me to stay with the LS1 coils and they've been powering my LSX427 since 2015. Why not just relocate them somewhere else to get them off the valve covers?

I rather like the valve cover location as it keeps things together. I suppose I'll just fab a bracket to hold everything in place there. I was just hoping to throw $ at something and make the problem go away rather than having to do actual work.

3D printing an option? Use ABS Plastic, it will hold up to the heat and vibration in the engine bay. Done it a few time for a few projects with 7 year of use and not being brittle.

I just changed mine out on an '03 ZO6 to ls2/3 style coils. You just need to buy the ls2/3 style coil pack sub harness and it will work like a charm.
