I have two exhausting questions.
I finally got around to weld in some new Magnaflow cats, picture is of the first tacked up.
The second is the rattle noisy one, you can see the first honey cone has rattle it self into a ball!

I have a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler #17792 Turbo muffler installed, no drone, just loud.
The noise level was OK with the stock cats, but now it is too loud. I like the Dynomax Super Turbo's because of the flow pattern with the offset inlet-outlet paths. But the second one if I use it, will have both inlet-outlet centered on the ends.
1st Question? How does the inside flow director design channels work since it is an center-intake-exhaust configuration? Here is a picture of the offset ones. I emailed Dynomax but have not received an answer yet.
I have Thorley mid-length headers and an old 10"resenator [that did not help a drone with an old glass packed type muffler], behind the Y pipe that I will replace with the new second muffler. I have room for a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler 17673 [centered in-outlets].
2nd Question? Which muffler would be the quietest? The last three are straight though glass packed type.

To solve the Super Turbo question, I think this one would work. It will need some more piping work but not much.

I decided to put a second #17792 Turbo muffler behind the "Y" pipe. [Summit racing came through again with the parts!] Plenty of room, just welded up the left over stainless and aluminized steel pieces I had laying around, using my torch and #309 tig welding rods with a flux, which should help the welds from rusting.
Downloaded a decimal sound meter app, At idle, at 3 feet from the tail pipe, before was 99 decimals, now 92. About as quiet as stock, which is what I wanted.
2 3/4" pipe into a 3" muffler, No leaks, rattles or loud noise.
