LM7 fuel rail question

LM7 fuel rail question I'm building a 2002 LM7 and using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the return side. I using the factory fuel rails and trying to find out what to do with the factory regulator. Is there a plug for the factory regulator or what do I need to do with it ?

I think you should be able to remove the small o'ring and enlarge the hole the o'ring seals against in the fuel rail. That should allow the fuel to flow and you would be using the regulator as a plug.
