Nick Williams 102 throttle body question
Nick Williams 102 throttle body question Anyone running a Nick Williams 102 throttle body on a Fast intake? Any whistling on startup? Any idle issues?
I bought a cheap TB before and it was terrible.

Whistling could be a vacuum leak somewhere. I just put on a FAST, NW 92mm and an X-Air OTRCAI and it is loud at startup, pretty loud whooshing sound at the intake, not much there now to silence the air going into the TB. Point being, the sound could be a much less restrictive intake system if you've installed one of those too along the way.

I have a NW 102 on a FAST 102 and have had zero problems.
I've seen a lot of the cheap T/B's whistle/howl on cold start up because the IAC passage isn't machined properly.
Also make sure your throttle blade is set right so your hot IAC counts are were they should be along with the BRAF.
If the blade isn't open enough, the IAC is going to have to do more work than it should.
