Default Need help Converting 4th gen fbody to 6AN

I'm in the process of a 3800 (2001 Firebird) to LS1 (2000 Camaro) swap. The factory fuel lines were rusty and cut when I pulled the motor so I'd like to replace them with 6an line. Ideally, I would like to run the lines the whole way to the sending unit my original plan was to use the compression style fitting back at the tank but I just noticed the sending unit has plastic nipples and I don't know if that's such a great idea anymore. Long story short if anyone knows what kind and how many fittings as long with how much 6an line I'd need to make this work at the tank, for a fuel filter, and up at the rail I'd really appreciate it this is the last thing I need to figure out and order.

Just use the EFI style adapters that fit the nipple ends on the sending unit, run your line and another adapter on the rail. Just go on summit and search efi adapters. There's so many different styles and brands. If I'm doing a budget build, I use the push on style. I use the summit brand "twist-lock" hose and fittings too. Never had a problem and have been using it for years. Works great and doesn't leak. You will have to have some type of regulator though. C5 vette filter is a perfect choice. The 3800is regulated at 43.5psi. LS1 needs 58. Probably a good idea to get a complete LS style pump and sending unit and do it right. Tanks are the same.

I did this on my silverado and I put an aeromotive pump and ordered 25 feet and it was enough. Not much extra but I managed and my sending unit also has plastic. I used the newer body style unit but it's still plastic. Also that's running through a regulator as well and it still was enough. I'm running e85 and it doesn't give me any issues

Racetronix makes a complete kit to hook up from tank to motor. All the lines, fittings, filter and new fuel rails. I think it was around $700 total. I picked up some metal zip ties to secure it in a few places. It comes with ptfe so it’s compatible with gas and ethanol. It’s kind of time consuming but I’m happy with it.

700 is high bro, he can make one for much cheaper and spend the extra money on a good pump and regulator

Hot rod fuel hose PTFE hose kit with regulator/filter is a great deal. I used their line and fittings when I redid my set up for the 3rd time, wish i did it from the start, so easy to work with. You'll need 1 or 2 of the adapter fittings in the correct size for at the tank as well. 20 foot should be fine if you're doing the corvette regulator, but order 30 to be safe and lay it out before you cut the hose so you're not short, if you're going to put a regulator under the hood buy their return style with 40 foot. I always throw a few extra fittings in with my order to have as a just incase.
