Currently considering ditching the K&N FIPK cold air intake on my 2000 Z28 with an SLP lid. If I understand it correctly I need a factory rad support for the car to replace with a lid? Is there any other parts I need right now for the swap besides the rad support, lid, and a filter?
I was considering going to another open element setup like a volant but I've read enough posts that said that those setups are not ideal.
My current K&N setup is filthy and I've read mixed reviews on them which is why I'm considering changing.
Also I currently do not have ram air of any sort. Just the factory non ram air Z28 hood.
