Possible vaccum leak
Possible vaccum leak Hello everyone. I have a tuner who is helping me retune the 421 stroker but we were looking at the iac counts and they were at zero so I closed the throttle blade to get it to around 20 like he said but now the blade is damn near closed. So he's thinking it's a vaccum leak. But I smoke tested it and not a single puff of smoke escaped anywhere. I was reading last night about the pcv system causing a vaccum leak condition. I have the ls6 valley cover but never ran a pcv valve because I thought the cover was suppose to have it built it. But on ls1howto I seen the guy reinstalled the pcv valve with the ls6 cover. Could that cause a low iac at idle? I wouldn't think so because the air was already metered via the maf. But idk. The cam is a 244/248 from tsp maybe it's just the nature of the cam.
