2001 5.3 LM7 Starter Issues

2001 5.3 LM7 Starter Issues Hello,
I am currently swapping a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 into my 91 S-10. I am using a T5 (I know it’s not meant for that type of power). I picked up a 2010-2015 Camaro LS3/LS7 clutch and flywheel kit. I bolted up my starter and when I try to engage it, it’s making this horrible clunking noise. I tried two different batteries that were both full charge. Do I need a different type of starter? It almost sounds like this one is hitting the flywheel. Here’s a link to the kit I bought and a youtube video of the issue.
