Valley cover cut 
Hey guys, I installed a new Ls6 valley cover and noticed I didn’t cut as much as others did after the fact. The new valley fit flush and torqued fine. I’m about to install the intake again, I’m just second guessing and self sabotaging right now.
Can any problems arise if I didnt clearance it enough? And side question, were your engines this dark/stained on the block walls. My car has about 100k miles on it.

If the cover fits, it's cut enough. That's all that matters.
Yes that stain color is quite normal. It's just the inevitable combustion products that find their way into the oil. I've seen ALOT worse than that. No problem there.
