Best headers?
Kooks is definitely the best. I had Kooks on my 2000 TA, I have Kooks on my 99 TA, and I bought Kooks 2" primary headers for my 434 build. Their true-dual exhaust is also superior to all others IMO (I have that also), and I listened to a ton of exhaust videos.
I went American Racing with Catted Y, they fit great and performed great with none of the gas smell, They usually do a special right around the first of the year, may even have a Christmas special of some sort, call and talk to them & just see what they are willing to do, they are great to deal with.
Kooks, American Racing and Stainless Works make top of the line products. Some of the cheaper brands are nearly as good for a bit less money. What's really important is whether they leak or bang on the floor. I've had good luck with MY TSP headers but others have had issues.
