Couldn’t find any threads of alternative catch can locations for the 4th gen LS1 with EGR. Has anybody made this location work with a mild MM PCV can below (looks like you just have to bend the bracket and drill a hole in the radiator support)?
I would either mount it to the front of the passenger side cylinder head or find a way to attach it to the dryer can like in this picture.

With the EGR valve in place, you can't mount it to the pass side head because it's mounted there. Best bet is to junk the EGR with a block off plate on the exhaust manifold and a plug in the intake, or better yet, replace it with an LS6 intake.
