LS2 DBW TB to 2002 LQ9
Trying to figure out how to add an 87/90mm DBW TB to my 02 LQ9.
Found the LS1 to LS2 DBW harness:
https://bp-automotive.com/product/ls...-body-adapter/
Explicitly says "THIS HARNESS WILL NOT WORK FOR 2001-2007 VORTEC TRUCK AND SUV APPLICATIONS!" So, question is why the hell not?? I found one user who bought one (amazon) and said "Works great. Used to put a ls2 throttle body on a lq9. If you have a 99-02 truck you have to swap the yellow and black pins for the actuator."
So, anyone have experience with this? My engine is an '02 LQ9 w/ factory DBW on an 0411 ECU. Swapping a 12580420 Trailblazer SS intake and L96 Delphi 44lb injectors. Can run the stock 78mm TB but I'm sure it will be a restriction. Not ready to swap to a DBC throttle body/pedal, etc. I know about the X Link used to swap on blue/green 03-up ECUs but no application for me.
All info is welcomed.
Thanks
