I am running a 5.3 in a demolition derby car and want to use the cheap intakes from ebay. i want to use it because the throttle body is in the middle of the intake and harder to break. attached is a picture. my question is which injectors and fuel rails do I use with this intake? I've tried to use google but no luck. thanks for looking.
That picture is for a carburetor but there's single planes out there which are for fuel injection. What size injectors you need depends on your power and what type of fuel your going to use. For example my 7.0 is naturally aspirated and uses a 60lb injector that's tuned for 93 octane but if I wanted to run E85 that injector most likely would not be big enough.
You could use that intake with the EFI throttle bodies they sell now. Injectors are built into the "carb". ACES injection sells a cheapish one that works well.
Sorry for the incorrect picture. It's a stock 5.3. I was wondering if I could use the stock truck injectors? I'm putting it in an 05 crown Vic. I know how LS better than a Ford 4.6. I Bought a truck and parted it out for what I paid for the truck. I made the harness a stand alone. I'm using the 4l60e transmission and I don't want to cut any of the firewall.
