98’ VS 99-02 Cam Sensor As well all know the cam sensors for 98 cars are discontinued. (97-98 technically)
Yes I’ve searched and saw a few threads but there was never a definitive answer.
Can you run a 99 and up cam sensor on the 98 PCMs?

From what I've seen, yes.
The ECT Sensor and Oil Pressure Sensor are one only ones with the 1998 Fbody that are different because of the wiring. The Cam Sensor is the same wiring so run a newer one.

Awesome thanks for the insight, now I have a little more peace of mind!
I am running the 98’ ECT and OPSU sensors on my new setup.
