Hyfire 6a ignition box w/pertronix points replacement

Hyfire 6a ignition box w/pertronix points replacement I'm scouring the net for some KNOWLEDGE on this one....
got a 70 monte carlo w/350 and replaced points with pertronix electronic igntion . A lobe sensing ignitor that hooks to the coil basically. I just added a hyfire 6a ignition box and hooked up everything just like Mallory shows. I get spark out of the coil when i ground the white wire..but when i hook up the pertronix to the box i get no spark going to the plugs..I checked #1 plug with timing light and no flash..i put a screw driver into the #1 plug wire to check for spark arcing and nothing while trying to start engine. I ran the red wire from the pertonix to a 12v ignition wire(same wire that Was connected to the positive on the coil) and the black pertr. wire to the white one on the Hyfire.
I came up with- I have a power problem to the pertonix so it's not on or my Timing somehow got so out of whack because of this installation that the rotor isn't sparking on the plug wires.
Anybody have experience installing ignition boxes and had problems???
