Default Stock transmission lines to radiator

Hi thank you all,
I need to replace the stock radiator on my 99 trans am. However the female thread adapter for the radiator is too big for the male threads for the transmission line. If I thread the transmission line directly to the radiator , it does not make a good seal. I bought the radiator from orileys since the last one lasted about 10 years. I bought two different brands, but they both have the same thread adapter. I have not been able to find the correct size adapter anywhere for this set up. I think I need 1/2 20 female to male adapter. Can you help or point me in the right direction?
I normally drive it in the winter in southern Ca.

Will the transmission line connect to the radiator with that adapter removed from the line? Usually the radiator has the correct adapter fitting already installed on the radiator or in a bag and you have to install them yourself.

Hi, I ended up welding the new and old adapter to create what I needed.
