Default help with a motor shutting off on its own

hey guys, i have a 2002 avalanche did a 5.3 to a 6.0 swap Everything was running good 400 miles now i did have trouble with the fuel rail bleeding down and hard to start replaced the pressure regulator didnt help much so the next thought was fuel injectors; they're still in the box lol. i had just put in a cheap ebay fuel pump before the swap and filter. ok here is the problem that hit me today out of the blue it dies, like you shut the power off. motor had just got up to operating temp. cranked and cranked nothing so waited two or three minutes and it started for about two minutes did that all the way home . its like something is getting hot and needs to cool down, to start again. when its running i get 55 to 60 psi on the fuel pressure. could the pump work good untill it heats up and freezes up for a minute or two?

Yes absolutely.

Tape your FP gauge to the windshield with clear box tape or something and see what it's doing at the moment the motor stops running.
