Default Question on my exhaust

I just wanted to ask a quick maybe dumb question as long tubes are a new thing for me. The 2000 SS I have has Stainless works 1 3/4 long tubes with 2 1/2" Y-pipe. The catback that the previous owner installed seems like a Flowmaster or magnaflow. I don't like the fit and don't like the dual tips. I want to replace it with the Speed Engineering 3" catback with the quad tips. I just want to make sure this combo will work? any idea? This is the one I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance

I would measure the outlet of your y-pipe to see if the 2 1/2” pipes merge into a single 3” pipe.
