Default Return/Returnless truck intake

Could someone identify if this is return or returnless?Appears to be returnless but what is the sensor up by the throttle body with the black plastic line travelling to the rear. Thought this was a fuel line when i took the intake off

That is the returnless one.

Observe that there is no FPR on it, and only one fuel line hookup.

The thing at the top front of the plenum just behind the TB flange is not a "sen-sore". It's the canister purge solenoid, and the line goes back to the charcoal canister, which is under the truck next to the tank, in the vehicles that have that intake.

Note also that that particular one is from a truck w vacuum brake booster, not hydroboost, since it has that vacuum line on it at the back.

Is the purge line high pressure? Can i run it to a square body era canister?

No. It's the purge line. It's at more or less the fuel tank pressure when the ECM is NOT telling the solenoid to purge the canister, and more or less at intake vacuum when it IS purging. Goes to pretty much the same place and does pretty much the same thing as the original purge line in the older truck did, just, controlled differently.

Thanks for the info. I see they make a little block off plate that mounts in place of the sensor. Would it be better to block off the sensor, or leave it in and run the line to the old style canister? Why or why not

Yes you should be able to hook it up to the existing canister. It will do the same thing as the original did, just, controlled differently. (by the ECM instead of a temp vac sw) That's what I'd do if that whole system is intact; lines, canister, etc. It doesn't hurt anything and will help minimize the misc gasoline aroma.
