Default Does GM make a water pump cartridge?

I've got an older LS1 water pump on my car that I believe is weak, possibly an impeller slipping on the shaft. Most people would replace the pump but my housing has a block off plate and an fitting already welded for my cars needs. I remember seeing bolts on the back side that looked like the cartridge could be changed. After some searching, the only cartridge I'm finding is an Edelbrock for their pump. Is this a possibility or an I just going to have to replace the assembly and get the new one welded?

I’ve never seen a rebuild kit for a GM LS pump. It’s been talked about here on Tech a few times through the years. Having said that, I’ve never seen an impeller slip on the shaft on an LS pump…but I have seen quite a few radiators get buildup in them…clogs…and folks swear their pump is failing. It’s happened to me also.

Never seen a pump get weak on these... I have seen water pump impellers rust away but the coolant was rust colored also
