GM used the same injectors in the gas-only 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 trucks. Same part #. All of em in those years; LR4, LM7, LQ4, LQ9. Maybe others. Which makes it eeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzy.

Best choices are either the ones from a 8.1 or from a flex fuel engine. Both are pretty common and not too $$$ for "rebuilt" and matched ones.

From my research my truck has multec injectors the 8.1 has delphi and flex fuel have different injectors as well with a variety of sizes and different plugs across the board

Multec is a trademark of Delphi. More specifically, of the Rochester Carburetor Division of Delphi. Delphi of course is the name of the company that was formed when GM spun off all of that back in the late 90s.

Here is a 4.8 / 5.3 / 6.0 injector.

Now here's the same thing for a 8.1 injector.

Here's the manufacturer. Same on both. You can probably somewhat see it in the length photos as well.

It's not that hard if you listen instead of argue.

I didn't take a picture, but both have the same connector; the one usually referred to as the "Delphi" style.

I wasnt arguing I obviously came here for information, you said all were the same i was just showing a source that was telling me differently hence my obvious confusion. I did not know multec and delphi were the same thank you for the information.
