8 rib damper Can I run an 8 rib damper on my otherwise stock 2003 ZO6? I am building the engine on the stand now and will add a supercharger down the road. Would like to add the 8 rib Innovators West damper now if possible.
Yes, any quality 8 rib should be fine on your C5.
I have and am using an Innovators West 8 rib on my C5 with a full 8 rib belt conversion. Plenty of room to the steering rack. Enough room you can change the belt without disassembling anything.
Whatever you do, do not buy the popular Summit Racing 8 rib unit. That thing is machined wrong and it lines up with no other 8 rib parts out there on earth.
