Default Help!!!

I am trying to put a 85mm maf sensor on my slp air lid that would fit my stock maf. obviously the 85mm will not fit into the air lid cause it is too big. how do I fix this problem. thanks

I think you need the TSP lid that is the only lid that a 85mm maf will fit I think.

you fix it by buying an 85mm lid. as stated above TSP makes one.

Bigger isnt the problem, its the way it affects the computer and readings. Most of the time, changing the MAF without tuning, will make the motor run lean, possibly causing damage. With tuning though, the larger MAF sesnors can be a slight improvement over stock, although the stock MAF sensor is good up to around 450 rwhp. With that said, I still wouldnt trust SLP to make a part that is so important to the motor as the MAF sensor. I think the LS6 is a better peice, other than stock.
