Y-pipe gains
Hey guys, I used search, trust me, but I got a million + 1 hits on it (due to all the sigs I guess). I was thinking of going w/ SLP's Y pipe. Never even thought of it until I was under my car last weekend and saw for myself how flat the damn stocker really is. Worthy mod, or save the dough?? Thanks as usual.

Yeah, I thought I had hit something in the road the first time I got under there looked at the factory Y. I thought about it doing the SLP pipe when I first got the car but all the opinons I got led me away from that plan.

I tried the slp ypipe. Dumbest mod Ive ever done. Didnt notice any improvement or difference in sound. Plus it hanged real low and would scrape on speed bumps.
If you dont want to get headers your best bet would be to get the mufflex stainless steel offroad pipes. They bolt in place of the cats between the exhaust manifolds and ypipe. People sell them used for $100-150. They will give you about 10hp.
Its hard to beat headers. They save 40lbs and add 25rwhp along with increasing gas mileage.
