Default Cutout or Diff. Muffler?

just wondering which i should go for! i have a totally stock '02 SS and the exhaust is on the quiet side! which would give the best perf. gain and sound the best? also what size cutout would i need? thanks

well..you would need a 3 inch cutout, and on my own car I run a stock catback with headers and a cutout. Its quite convinient when its late or you see a cop around.

you sure about the 3 inch? I measured my exhaust's diameter with a napkin and then divided by pi (3.14159) and got 2.25 on my ss. This make any sense?
