Is there a way to hook up hooker headers and their Y pipe without welding anythin? Can it just bolt up? If there is a way please let me know i am interested in doin so if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I am assuming the y-pipe slips over the header collectors and you just use band clamps to tighten them down.

They slide over the collector and the clamps they give you are not the best but better than a regular mufler clamp. I use the 3" stainless band clamps with a little high temp silicone for a leak free installation.

Has your RTV melted away. I was thinking of trying this, but then read from others on here that is can screw up the O2s and will likely melt away.

Well mine has not melted away and so you know what I am using it says sensor safe etc... It is the permatex brand (red ) High temp silicone. It is after the front O2's any way and I am runnig an ORY so the rears aren't even and issues etc... Hope this helps.

How long have you been running with the Permatex? I will likely try that out. I was also thinking that it shouldn't be a problem either because the O2s are before the band clamps for the headers.
